Apple falls as software glitch gets more attention

NEW YORK (AP) — Shares of Apple Inc. are down more than 3 percent as a glitch in an iPhone software update garnered more headlines.

The software update caused some customer’s new iPhone models to block calls. Apple offered a fix for the issue on Wednesday, telling customers to manually reverse the update by plugging the phone into a computer and to download a file.
