Lindsey Graham to endorse Jeb Bush for president

South Carolina Sen. Lindsey Graham is expected to endorse former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush for president Friday morning.

Politico first reported the news.

Graham, a Republican, has served as a senator since 2003. He had launched his presidential campaign in June 2015, but dropped out of the race in December.

But his pending endorsement comes as Bush’s campaign has stalled. According to a RealClearPolitics average of polls, he is currently in fifth place with 4.8 percent with less than three weeks to go until the Iowa caucuses.
