CEO of private jet company busted for alleged underage sex trafficking

The New York Police Department's Vice Squad arrested the CEO of a private jet company on sex trafficking charges after he was apprehended while allegedly attempting to sell sex with two underage girls.

The New York attorney general's office announced on Saturday that Paul Alexander, 57, is accused of trying to sell sex with two teenage girls for $300 to an undercover agent.

Alexander, who is the CEO of Central Jet Charter, a private jet company based out of Neptune City, New Jersey, told the undercover agent that the girls were 12 and 14 years old, police said.

Alexander, who is a Level 3 registered sex offender in New York, is also accused of telling the agent to use marijuana and alcohol to get the girls to do what he wanted.

The NYPD Vice Squad, which named the task “Operation Mile High,” was initially tipped off to Alexander by an underage girl who alleged abuses.

Alexander became the first person arrested under laws in New York state that carry steeper penalties than previous laws against adult trafficking.
