D.C. police said they have made an arrest in connection with last month’s slaying of an 18-year-old Logan Circle resident.

The victim, Derrick Green, of Northwest D.C., was fatally shot in the head at about 2 a.m. on July 17 in an alley in the 1300 block of

Vermont Avenue in Northwest. Green lived only about a block away, in the 1300 block of 14th Street NW.
