Fairfax County police hope a photograph of a getaway vehicle and audio from a 911 call spur tips in a year-old murder investigation.
Jose Cardona, 39, was fatally shot May 17, 2010, outside the Centreville mansion where he worked as a handyman. Two gunmen broke into the home on the 14200 block of Compton Road, got into a fight with Cardona and killed him, police said.
On Tuesday, the one-year anniversary of the slaying, police released an audio file of the 911 call that includes the attacker’s voice.
Officials also released an image of the getaway truck, a white Toyota pickup.
