Son shoots father in leg An 18-year-old Manassas man was arrested after he shot his 41-year-old father in the leg, authorities said.

Jeremy Harris was charged with aggravated malicious wounding after a fight with his father escalated to gunfire around 2 a.m. Monday in their home on the 9800 block of Blue Gray Circle, police said. Harris wasn’t home when police arrived, but they apprehended him a short time later. His father was taken to an area hospital with nonlife-threatening injuries, authorities said.
