The U.S. Mint is rolling out a new collectible medal celebrating the Freedom 250 Grand Prix, the marquee IndyCar event set to take over the streets of Washington, D.C., this weekend.
“The United States Mint captured this singular convergence of American history and American speed in a single, strikable object — an official medal that turns this historic two-day spectacle into a lifetime keepsake,” the Mint said.
