Journalist Kurt Eichenwald tweets he wants to beat 'antimaskers' to death

Journalist Kurt Eichenwald said he wanted to “beat” people who do not comply with mask mandates “to death” in a Twitter tirade.

“It’s at a moment like this that I want to find an antimasker and beat them to death. Since they believe they have the right to kill others, they have surrendered any right to object. #CategoricalImperative,” Eichenwald said in a tweet that was removed from the platform for violating its terms of service.

In another tweet that remained on the platform, Eichenwald said he wishes “pain & misery” on Republicans.

Eichenwald later clarified that he has no plans to “kill anyone” but said it was “hard not to contemplate violence” against people that don’t agree with his stance on masks.

When some commenters tried to question his stance, Eichenwald fired back by calling them “uniniformed” or “stupid."

“BecAuse you F---ING MORON, masks primarily protect other people,” Eichenwald responded. “And since 40% of the infected are asymptomatic , the ones without masks are spreading the disease because they don’t give a S--- about killing others. You are either STILL uninformed or too stupid to care.”

“If someone is willing to leave the children of innocents without parents, I don’t care if their own kids are orphans,” Eichenwald responded to another user. “Reap what they sew. It shouldn’t just be the innocent that suffer.”

The author also bashed who he described as selfish Christians and said that they would “burn in hell.”

“You F---ING 'Christians' who preen about God saving you from COVID so you dont need masks,” Eichenwald said. “Youre what Jesus condemns. You kill with hypocrisy. Read Matthew 25:41-46. If you realize the Bible is about more than hating gays, you'll realize: For your selfishness, you'll burn in hell.”

Eichenwald did not immediately respond to a Washington Examiner request for comment.
