Heading into the final stretch of the 2020 election cycle, President Trump is promising that life will return to normal if he is reelected to the Oval Office.
At a campaign rally in Erie, Pennsylvania, on Tuesday, Trump said the coronavirus pandemic was "ending" and that people were ready to get back to "normal life."
"You know what we want? Normal life," Trump said to applause. "Normal life will finally resume, and next year will be the greatest economic year in the history of our country."

Trump's optimistic message touting a "return to normal" life following the election comes on the heels of a Monday campaign call during which Trump said people were "tired" of the coronavirus. Trump lashed out at CNN during a rally later in the day, calling the network "dumb bastards" for its around-the-clock coverage of the coronavirus pandemic.
The president said voters have a choice between two vastly different economic outcomes depending on who they select at the ballot box — him or former Vice President Joe Biden.
"This is an election between the Trump super recovery, which is happening right now, and a Biden depression," Trump said. "If he gets elected, you're going to have a depression the likes of which you have never seen."
