Chelsea Clinton to the rescue, new mom, 35, tasked to woo students

Hillary Rodham Clinton’s daughter is being tagged to bring home younger voters for her 68-year-old mom, an establishment figure in Washington since 1993.

The Clinton campaign said that Chelsea Clinton, 35, and a new mom, will speak at three colleges in South Carolina in advance of the state’s Saturday primaries.

Hillary Clinton has lost the younger vote to Sen. Bernie Sanders in the contests so far, as they look for somebody with the passion to push their issues. From the campaign:

Chelsea Clinton to Get Out the Vote in SC

On Friday, February 26th, Chelsea Clinton will campaign and lead Get Out the Vote efforts for her mother in the Palmetto State. As she meets with students, volunteers, and community members, Chelsea will highlight her mother’s commitment to build on President Obama’s progress, make college affordable, address gun violence, and break down the barriers that hold South Carolinians back.

These events will be open to the public. To find your polling location, please visit hrc.io/locate.
