There is a growing concern among voters that President Joe Biden is losing his mental edge and that the media are working overtime to hide it.
In the latest Rasmussen Reports survey shared with Secrets, 59% of voters said they believe Biden “is getting less and less mentally sharp over time.”
White voters at 59% and black voters at 58% are in agreement that Biden is becoming more mentally challenged. Even 36% of Democrats agree, Rasmussen said.
While the survey didn’t cite any examples in its questioning of likely voters, just over the past few weeks, Biden has garbled speeches and appeared confused.
At a Wisconsin brewery last month, one audience member said Biden was speaking a “different language” when he mumbled, “The beer brewed here, it is used to make the brewed beer here in this refine — oh, Earth Rider, thanks for the Great Lakes. I wondered why.”
While conservative media outlets have been covering Biden’s mental flops, the liberal press have largely ignored them, giving their readers an incomplete view of the president.
Voters told Rasmussen they believe the pro-Biden media are in cahoots with the White House.

The pollster asked, “How likely is it that the news media are helping cover up evidence of President Biden’s declining mental sharpness?”
The answer: “Sixty-one percent (61%) of voters believe it’s likely that the news media are helping cover up evidence of President Biden’s declining mental sharpness, including 45% who consider such a cover-up very likely. Thirty-six percent (36%) don’t think it’s likely the media are trying to hide evidence of Biden’s mental decline, including 20% who say it’s not at all likely,” Rasmussen’s analysis said.
