The head of a pro-Hillary Clinton group is now attacking the conservative Koch brothers network for providing charity to sectors of the electorate that are typically forgotten by the Republicans.
David Brock, sizing up the effort by the Kochs and their group American for Prosperity to offer poor blacks and Hispanics hot meals and other charity typically provided by liberal groups, slammed it as “creepy” and sinister.

In a Politico story about the Koch program, Brock, a key Clinton backer, defender, and fundraiser, said, “It sounds like something Hezbollah would do to get recruits.”
He added, “It won’t work. They can’t hide their agenda of lower wages, no unions and no health care, which would be devastating to these communities, merely by trying to ‘help’ them with a food coupon.”
Liberals attacking Koch Industries, which has strong ties to key GOP figures, is nothing new, but comparing it to a terrorist group crosses a new line.

David and Charles Koch are the Democrat’s Public Enemy No. 1, even when they offer philanthropic help to those in need. The reason: Even in their charity, they are talking up the benefits of free enterprise versus the welfare state.
Brock is a top attacker and darling of the left. His group, Correct the Record, is part of the Clinton support group that aims to protect her reputation, and he is promoting his book that claims that liberal publications like the Washington Post and New York Times have been cowed by conservatives “to spread their lies and innuendo,” according to a fawning review in Huffington Post.
