The briefing comes shortly after President Joe Biden endorsed a series of Supreme Court reforms in a likely effort to make a statement as a lame-duck president.
“I’m certain we need these reforms to restore trust in the court, preserve the system of checks and balances that are vital to our democracy,” Biden said.
