Doctors do not have to be apolitical. They have to know when politics must stop.
A physician may vote, protest, write, argue, and hold strong views about Israel, Gaza, race, immigration, abortion, climate change, or any other public controversy. Doctors are citizens. Medical students are citizens. Nurses, residents, and faculty members are citizens.
