Planned Parenthood supporters in Maryland have provided another compelling argument against the organization’s pleas to operate at federal taxpayers’ expense.
Anxious about Republican efforts to cut Planned Parenthood’s federal funding, lawmakers passed legislation that guarantees state money in the case that federal dollars are eliminated. The Maryland law was passed months ago and went into effect on July 1.
