House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy isn’t naive enough to believe that Democrats are done with President Trump just because their first impeachment was a bust.

But on Friday, McCarthy sent out an email to supporters declaring Trump “acquitted for life.” This was an obvious rejoinder to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s “impeached for life” line, but in reality, it isn’t a thing that actually exists.
