NBC’s Bob Costas on Tuesday downed a glass of vodka on air after both of his eyes became infected during his trip to the Sochi Olympics in Russia.

“I’m not really that much of a vodka guy. I’m looking at it this way though; my eyes can’t get any redder, no matter what I do,” Costa said as he drained his glass.
