Garland’s Justice Department cares more about unspecified threats than domestic terrorists

The Justice Department issued a statement about the alleged threats being made against Boston Children’s Hospital’s transgender clinic, declaring how boldly the administration is handling hate crimes and vowing not to tolerate “hate-based criminal activity.”

This falls in line with Garland’s Justice Department comparing parents speaking out at school board meetings to terrorists, at the behest of the National School Boards Association, which of course colluded with the Biden administration to manufacture that charge in the first place. The moment any group of liberal activists, from school board bureaucracies to gender clinic ideologues, declares they are getting threats, the Justice Department loudly raises the voice of condemnation.

Meanwhile, a group called Jane’s Revenge has claimed responsibility for attacks on crisis pregnancy centers across the country. Several of these centers have been firebombed, and the group responsible has boasted “how easy and fun it is to attack” and that it will “take increasingly drastic measures” that won’t be “so easily cleaned up as fire and graffiti.”

These are domestic terrorists, boasting about their terrorist attacks and threatening to escalate them. That has earned not so much as a whisper of condemnation from Garland. Every alleged threat to a gender clinic must be loudly condemned, and concerned parents are no different than domestic terrorists, but actual domestic terrorists firebombing buildings and promising to do worse? Silence from the Justice Department.

Garland’s Justice Department doesn’t care all that much about domestic terrorism if it’s targeted at organizations or groups that the Left disapproves of, and the Left despises crisis pregnancy centers. Associate Attorney General Vanita Gupta has called those centers “fake clinics.” Kristen Clarke, in charge of the department’s Civil Rights Division, called them “harmful” and “predatory.” Note that these are organizations that help mothers both before and after they have their babies.

Garland wants transgender clinics and social justice-obsessed school boards to know that he stands with them in solidarity against all threats, real and exaggerated. Meanwhile, he and the Justice Department want crisis pregnancy centers to know that they are fake and predatory and that being firebombed and threatened by domestic terrorists is no big deal. This is what “justice” looks like to left-wing partisan hacks like Garland.
