Way back in October 2020, I wrote that the Delaware laptop story was “about Joe Biden, not Hunter.” No matter how long the establishment media continue to insist otherwise, this scandal calls President Joe Biden’s integrity into question and, if taken as seriously as it deserves, will threaten his presidency.
The likely implication of Papa Biden in ethically shady dealings was obvious from the start for anyone willing to assess the evidence honestly. Hunter made repeated reference to his father with regard to business and financial dealings. Joe was already known to have interacted with various players in the schemes at exactly the times when Hunter would have needed his help. And then, of course, there were the on-the-record claims from Hunter’s onetime business partner Tony Bobulinski, backed by considerable evidence, that the former vice president met with him directly regarding some of those business dealings.
Now, among other new revelations, we find that Joe Biden actually wrote a college recommendation letter for both the son and the daughter of one of Hunter’s Chinese business partners. Hunter claimed in one email that half his “earnings” went to subsidize his father. And, of course, we’ve always known that Joe let Hunter use Air Force Two as a virtual shuttle service for Hunter’s big deals in China, bringing his son along on a state visit for no discernible reason other than to give Hunter access to Chinese businesses that effectively were subsidiaries of the Communist state.
The younger Biden knew well that these folks weren’t just independent businessmen. Hunter described one of them in an email as “the spy chief of China.” It defies belief to think that Vice President Biden could travel all the way to China with his son and not have a clue (and for his staff and the U.S. intelligence community to be unaware as well) that his son would use the visit to set up multimillion-dollar deals with people known to be Chinese Communist agents.
Much more news is coming with regard to the business dealings of President Biden’s son and his brother. This week, CBS is reporting on some 150 “concerning” bank transactions. A key whistleblower tells the British Daily Mail that he has 450 gigabytes of supposedly “deleted” material from Hunter’s computer hard drive. Granted, neither of these two newest revelations are yet known to involve President Biden, but if they track the rest of material from Hunter’s computer, the odds are that Joe will appear on them somewhere in an unflattering light.
It would take a considerably longer column to detail all the evidence Joe Biden knew more than he has admitted about his family’s sleazy, lucrative foreign business dealings, both while serving in office and while preparing for a return to office. Still, the establishment media act as if they are taking orders from one of Hunter Biden’s business partners, James Gilliar, who wrote this to Bobulinski even as Bobulinski was dealing with both Bidens: “Don’t mention Joe being involved.”
Don’t mention it, indeed. The media willfully missed a big, obvious story, for reasons stemming entirely from political bias. That this went on for 18 months incriminates the integrity of the nation’s free press.
