Liberals, Democrats, and every left-winger who vilified Republicans as murderers during the pandemic have a lot of nerve calling for a “pandemic amnesty.” These people criticized, condemned, vilified, and tried to silence anyone who rejected the Left’s pandemic narrative. Their abusive and authoritarian nature was laid bare by this event. And now, after most of their claims have been proven wrong, they want a full pardon for their behavior?
I don’t think so.
YES, FAUCI SHARES BLAME FOR SCHOOL CLOSURES
It would be one thing if this were just about disagreements regarding specific suggestions or recommendations as to the handling the pandemic. But the Left deliberately attacked people and even tried to ruin them if they disagreed with their commands. These are people who closed small businesses so that larger company stores could flourish. They held the common folk to different standards than they held themselves. They emphasized the necessity of wearing masks while shunning and criticizing those who didn’t — then they would be caught breaking their own rules when it inconvenienced their elite lives.
Consider just some of the despotic actions against those who disagreed with the Left.
We must remember that Big Tech tried to silence Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) for posting videos showing scientific evidence that challenged the efficacy of masks. He provided studies and data that showed mask efficacy against contracting and spreading COVID was not what many of the “experts” claimed it to be. Paul was right. They were wrong.
We must remember how the Left excoriated Paul for daring to question Dr. Anthony Fauci. We mustn’t forget how Fauci went from being the savior of the world, claiming that “he was the science,” to being caught in numerous contradictions and controversies about his recommendations and suggestions. And then there’s Fauci’s flip-flopping on school closings — he was leading the charge one year and refusing any responsibility for it the next.
We must remember that it was President Joe Biden who spread misinformation that getting vaccinated will prevent people from getting and spreading COVID. It was Biden who targeted and blamed the pandemic on people who resisted wearing masks and getting vaccinated. He categorized it as a “pandemic of the unvaccinated,” yet months later, it was revealed that the government “overplayed the vaccines.” Biden never apologized, nor has anyone, to my knowledge. They just attacked and attacked, vilified and vilified.
We must not forget how “experts,” scientists, and doctors like Deborah Birx, the people the country trusted to protect them from the pandemic, casually admitted to not telling the truth. They were not held accountable for their misinformation and deceit.

No, there should not be any pandemic amnesty — especially not this week as next Tuesday’s election approaches. The mask scolds and vaccine mandators need to be repaid in kind. And this is not about revenge — it’s about accountability and judgment of those who not only made mistakes but sought to punish anyone who disagreed with them. An amnesty would only encourage a repeat of their deceitful, manipulative, and unjust actions and behavior.
