If there is one word that sums up NBC News’s attack this week on the Federalist, it has to be “ironic.”

It is ironic that NBC’s so-called “Verification Unit” performed a stealth update to its hit job, removing the initial, explosive claim that Google had deplatformed the conservative opinion site.
