Russia has begun its invasion of Ukraine. President Joe Biden and his administration are (presumably) talking to his generals. In his address to the nation, Biden announced there would be an emergency NATO summit with 30 allied nations. Biden said he spoke with Gen. Mark Milley, the country’s highest-ranked military officer, about how to address the situation. As the world is on the brink of war, it is important to ask: Has our military had enough training on climate change, diversity, and critical race theory?
The Washington Examiner previously reported that since the start of the Biden administration, the military has spent about 6 million hours on “developing, preparing, delivering, attending or assessing” new plans to address climate change, diversity, and extremism. Maybe they should have been studying Russian and Ukrainian instead.
“We face real threats across the world, yet the Biden administration is more focused on promoting its leftist social agenda in the military instead of countering China, Russia, and Iran or creating an effective counterterrorism plan,” a group of 12 senators, led by Sen. James Inhofe of Oklahoma, recently wrote.
Objectively speaking, what appears to be a more worthwhile pursuit of military personnel? Studying the Russian and Ukrainian languages or being brainwashed by reading How to Be an Antiracist?
What would be a better option for our country’s troops? Spending hundreds of hours on the history of slavery? Or learning about military strategies used by Putin in the Russian-Georgian War of 2008? Or studying the reasons behind Putin’s annexation of Crimea in 2014? Or learning about the intricacies of Russia’s military?
Like everything else liberals and Democrats implement in our country, the ultimate result will be a weakened, inferior country. These 6 million hours are a waste of time in every aspect. It is just pure indoctrination.
Given the current state of geopolitics, the Republican senators were correct. Climate change and critical race theory are not invading Ukraine. Our troops must be prepared to fight the Russian military, not carbon emissions or renewable energy sources. This indoctrination has no place in our military; it is irrelevant when it comes to war.
