Democrats throughout the country show they truly hate the United States

Democrats are often accused of hating the United States, and this past July Fourth weekend, many Democrats confirmed it.

When the city of Orlando sent out its community newsletter on Friday, it was supposed to be an advertisement for the annual Independence Day celebrations. Instead, it included anti-American rhetoric that bemoaned the country and the recent Supreme Court decision to overturn Roe v. Wade. The city’s mayor is Buddy Dyer, a Democrat.

“A lot of people probably don’t want to celebrate our nation right now, and we can’t blame them,” the newsletter said. “When there is so much division, hate and unrest, why on earth would you want to have a party celebrating any of it?” The message goes on to advertise the fireworks display. “Yes, America is in strife right now, but you know what … we already bought the fireworks,” it added.

As usual, it cited the “hate and unrest,” though these terms are specifically reserved for anyone who does not adhere to left-wing political ideologies. In this case, it was a not-so-subtle reference to the recent Supreme Court decision.

Yet, it conveniently ignores a large segment of the population that was happy about the decision and are celebrating the preservation of infant lives. The Left is so engrossed in its echo chambers that it abhors dissent, and anyone that disagrees is full of “hate.”

Next, consider that the Pima County Democratic Party promoted a “F*** the 4th” event hosted by the Tucson Women’s March. Once again, it was in response to the Supreme Court’s decision. The advertisement said, “Let’s mourn with “F*** the 4th.”

Fortunately, there is some sanity within some Democrats in the country. The Arizona Democratic Party criticized Pima County’s tweet and distanced itself from the organization. To its credit, it issued a message that embraces our country’s principles instead of bashing them.

“The Arizona Democratic Party does not agree with the language used to publicize a 4th of July event happening in Tucson. We believe there can be room for both celebration and criticism. That is at the core of American freedom,” the party tweeted.

Being upset about the Supreme Court’s decision is one thing; being anti-American and hating the country on its celebrated birthday is another. And unfortunately, many Democrats throughout the country have shown their true colors in recent weeks, months, and years.
