Embattled GOP presidential candidate Herman Cain addressed a friendly crowd at the Koch brothers-bankrolled Americans for Prosperity conference here in Washington today, where he declared “I am the Koch brothers’ brother from another mother!”
The line took a moment to sink in for much of the crowd, video clips indicate, but it soon gave way to rapturous applause, the audience lapping up his played-up AfroAm vernacular shtick. (Below you can see David Koch, the Manhattan-based philanthropist brother,

Cain was rising the Tea Party-aligned .org’s defense, and confirming with glee the supposedly-sinister ties between his consigliere Mark Block and the Koch brothers purported in a recent New York Times story.
