Texas Republican Sen. Ted Cruz defied fellow Republicans for suggesting it would be better for them politically to let Obamacare fail, rather than fighting to block it.
Cruz disparaged the idea proposed by those he called “Republican gray beards” in the Senate during an interview aired Sunday on CNN‘s Dana Bash.

“I profoundly disagree with their message. I want to step on their message,” Cruz said. “Number one, I consider that theory the ‘bad Samaritan’ theory — basically inflict a bunch of harm on the American people and hope we benefit politically from it.”
