Study: Republicans more influential on Twitter than Democrats

Congressional Republicans are beating their Democratic counterparts on Twitter according to a recent study by a public relations firm.

The study examines the ‘Power of Twitter in Congress’ and uses a tool Twitalyzer  to measure the amount of influence a member has based on tweets, retweets and the active engagement of the author with its followers.
