How is it you missed today’s date? According to Ace of Spades, “the Palm Beach supervisor of elections did NOT send out any notices that an election was in fact happening today.”
See, today’s election is to replace Rep. Robert “Hookers and cocaine” Wexler, who resigned to become president of the Center for Middle East Peace and Economic Cooperation. During his uncontested 2008 reelection, Wexler played along with Stephen Colbert’s suggestion that he say things that would normally prevent him from being electable.
