President Obama’s announcement that he will run for reelection sent more than 1 million people scrambling for 2012 campaign gear on a single website in the last 36 hours.
More than 1.2 million people bought 2012 campaign T-shirts on CafePress.com, an online company that sells custom-made products.
So far, Obama’s in the lead. Roughly 780,000 people bought pro-Obama shirts, compared to the 450,000 who bought anti-Obama shirts, according to the company.
