Democrats don’t want to talk about their growing terrorist-supporting wing

The Democratic Party wants to have its cake and eat it too when it comes to Gaza, pandering to terrorist sympathizing “pro-Palestinians” while downplaying the party’s role in empowering them in politics.

The Democratic National Committee has finally released its 2024 election autopsy report. It is as pathetic as you can imagine, released incomplete and riddled with errors, making it a perfect representation of the modern-day Democratic Party. As for the content, the first thing that many people, especially rabid progressives, noticed was that the report makes no mention of Gaza, and the effect that the issue had on former President Joe Biden’s popularity among Democrats and, by extension, former Vice President Kamala Harris’s popularity.

KEN MARTIN PRESSURED TO QUIT AFTER RELEASE OF INCOMPLETE DNC AUTOPSY

During the 2024 Democratic primary, in which Biden was incapable of stringing together competent sentences without a teleprompter, Gaza was the only hiccup in the primary process. Some 700,000 Democratic voters joined the “uncommitted” movement as a protest against Biden’s being too sympathetic toward Israel — no, really — after Palestinian terrorists murdered, raped, or took hostage 1,200 Israeli civilians. That uncommitted fever peaked in Michigan, where over 100,000, or 13% of the Democratic primary base, cast an “uncommitted” protest vote against Biden.

The terrorist-supporting portion of the Democratic base hounded Harris to be more publicly anti-Israel after she replaced Biden as the nominee. In the aftermath of Harris’s loss, the party has more openly embraced the terrorist sympathies of its “pro-Palestinian” contingent. The party’s voting base is flocking toward antisemitic terrorist sympathizers, such as New York Mayor Zohran Mamdani, Michigan Senate candidate Abdul El Sayed, and Maine Senate candidate Graham Platner.

And therein lies why Gaza goes unmentioned in the DNC report. The party has become beholden to these antisemites, letting them drive the party since Palestinian terrorists massacred Israeli civilians on Oct. 7, 2023. The only prominent Democrat with any spine and moral clarity on this issue, Sen. John Fetterman (D-PA), is being targeted by the party’s base with the goal of running him out of office in 2028. The DNC is becoming the party of Gaza, and Chairman Ken Martin knows he can’t cross that progressive bloc.

REPUBLICANS ARE BETTER THAN DEMOCRATS AT KEEPING BIGOTS OUT OF THE PARTY — BUT FOR HOW LONG?

But admitting that your party’s guiding issue is support for third-world terrorists would be a turn-off for normal voters who don’t wake up every morning thinking about a fictional “genocide.” The progressive obsession with tying every issue to Gaza and Israel is seen by most normal people as obnoxious and deranged, so Martin and the DNC can’t openly embrace the intifada cheerleaders the way that Mamdani and others have.

The DNC didn’t mention Gaza in its report because it still has no idea how to balance the spiraling hatred and obsession from a growing contingent of its base with trying to be seen as a normal party focused on normal issues. The DNC hasn’t figured out how to have a growing portion of its base talk about Gaza 24/7 and win over swing voters who want to talk about anything other than Gaza, and the party is going to quickly learn that it has undertaken an impossible task.
