The U.S. Navy confirmed on Thursday that a sailor was found dead almost exactly one month ago during a deployment to the Middle East, but has continued to withhold their identity.
The service confirmed the sailor’s death, which occurred on Sept. 14, but did not reveal their identity, where they were, or what happened, citing an investigation.
