ALEXANDRIA, Va. (AP) — A likely outbreak of norovirus is forcing a northern Virginia elementary school to shut down for a good scrubbing.
School officials in Alexandria say that 200 students and 30 staff members at John Adams Elementary School have developed a stomach illness in the last two days resulting in vomiting, nausea and diarrhea.
