University of Maryland’s Students for Justice in Palestine sues school over Oct. 7 event limitations

The University of Maryland’s Students for Justice in Palestine chapter is suing the university after it limited the organization’s planned Oct. 7 events.

The legal complaint filed in the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland said the school violated students’ First Amendment rights when it prevented the local SJP chapter from holding its own events on Oct. 7.
