Indiana University targeted over ‘race-exclusive’ scholarships

EXCLUSIVE — Indiana University is the subject of a civil rights complaint filed with the Department of Education‘s Office for Civil Rights over the creation of scholarships that exclude white students.

Defending Education filed the complaint on Wednesday, accusing Indiana University of engaging in “discrimination on the basis of race in programs or activities” in violation of both Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and the Equal Protection Clause of the 14th Amendment.
