NEWTOWN, Conn. (AP) — Newtown’s first selectwoman says the next few weeks will be difficult and she is asking residents to quietly mark the anniversary of the Dec. 14 shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School by coming together and supporting local businesses.

First Selectwoman Pat Llodra (LOH’-drah) says in a blog post that the community is gearing up for the release of the investigation report Monday and also waiting to find out whether recordings of 911 calls from that day will be released.
