The Supplemental Security Income payment for December, worth up to $943, will go out to millions of beneficiaries in nine days.

Beneficiaries will receive two checks this month because the next payments are scheduled to be distributed on Nov. 29, as Dec. 1 is a Sunday, and payments are not distributed on holidays or weekends.
