VIDEO: Tensions high in border funding debate

As Congress rushes to wrap up work before its August recess, tensions are flaring over the still unresolved funding plan to address security and humanitarian concerns on the southwest border.

The war of words got even nastier on the Senate floor Thursday, as Republican and Democratic leaders debated the next steps. The House and Senate proposals are separated by a nearly two billion dollar gap, leaving little hope of a compromise before lawmakers leave for their districts.
