Another Republican lawmaker is running for House speaker.
Rep. Daniel Webster, who represents central Florida’s 10th District, announced on Twitter that he will be nominated for the job when the House holds a vote this afternoon.

“It appears I will be nominated for Speaker of the House. I am humbled and honored by the confidence many of my colleagues have placed in me,” Webster tweeted.
Webster is one of three Republicans running for the job who are hoping to unseat current Speaker John Boehner of Ohio.
Reps. Louie Gohmert of Texas and Ted Yoho, also of Florida, are also competing for the job.
