Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump on Friday decided to delete an old tweet calling out his “haters and losers” on 9/11.
Two years ago, the businessman extended his “best wishes to all, even the haters and losers” on the 12th anniversary of the 9/11 terror attacks, which he dubbed a “special date.”
Twitter users brought the tweet back to attention on Friday’s 14th anniversary of the attacks, and Trump, who leads Washington Examiner’s presidential power rankings, moved to deleted it just before 8:30 a.m. EST. However, what goes on the Internet is forever and the tweet lives on various websites.
Trump manually retweeted the message the night he originally tweeted it out on Sept. 11, 2013, and that tweet remains live.
