Unlike Kristen Wiig‘s failed cupcake maker character in “Bridemaids,” Sprinkles founder Candace Nelson is truly at the top of her game. Not only does she have 10 Sprinkles cupcakeries in business, including one in Georgetown, but she’s permanent judge on the Food Network show “Cupcake Wars.” On top of that, she’s celebrating the Georgetown location’s first birthday this week, by appearing at the store in person. Nelson will be on hand Thursday between 4 p.m. and 5 p.m. and the store will be handing out cupcakes all day long.
