‘Top Model’s’ Nigel Barker coming to Convention Center

We’re already “smizing” at this news. Fashion photographer and “America’s Next Top Model” judge Nigel Barker will be making a return trip to the District next month, headlining the third annual Fashion Beauty and Lifestyle Expo. Co-hosting the event is fashion designer Korto Momolu, who was a runner-up on season five of “Project Runway.” The last time we saw Barker he was gushing about President Obama at Eden Lounge in February, touting his book “Nigel Barker’s Beauty Equation: Revealing a Better and More Beautiful You.” “I’m actually a big fan of Obama. Sorry, I am. I think he’s great,” he said at the time. “I’d love to photograph him, I think he’s got great style, great presence.” The expo will take place at the Washington Convention Center on Sept. 10.
