He also dropped nearly $70,000 on a car, $24,245 on a motorcycle, and $1,072 for a Pebble Beach golf outing—all taxpayer money that was earmarked for children. Thomas, who pled guilty to theft and filing a false tax return in January, could spend 46 months in prison for the debacle. Hope the shoes were worth it.
