Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush continued to attack Hillary Clinton Friday, hours after he and six other GOP presidential hopefuls took several swipes at the former secretary of state during the sixth Republican primary debate.
“I will take it to [Clinton] because my record is an open book,” Bush told Fox News. “Her record is one that we have to get it all pried out by the Federal Bureau of Investigation.”
“Americans want to have a president that is open and transparent. And that focuses on them, not on their own political ambition,” Bush said.
Bush also noted that Michael Bay’s “13 Hours,” a movie about the Sept. 11, 2012, attacks on the U.S. diplomatic compounds in Benghazi, Libya, debuts across the country Friday. He suggested the film would serve to further damage Clinton’s position in the presidential race.
Bush, who’s sixth in the Washington Examiner’s presidential power rankings, is set to arrive in New Hampshire Friday evening to continue campaigning ahead of the state’s first-in-the-nation Feb. 9 primary.
