First there was Tea Party the iPhone app, now there’s Tea Party the set of playing cards.
The Shenandoah Valley Tea Party Patriots has produced a deck of cards (for $7 a pop) of “54 liberal politicians” they want rid of this November. The deck includes regulars like House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, Rep. Barney Frank, D-Mass., and Rep. Anthony Weiner, D-N.Y., mixed with some mavericks (or former mavericks) like Republican Sen. John McCain and Rep. Joseph Cao, R-La., who voted for health care reform in the House, before he voted against it.
The group is encouraging people to send the correct card to the corresponding member of Congress.
“Mail it to him as a reminder that, on Election Day, you will be calling his bluff,” the site instructs.
