Christine Blasey Ford’s lawyers issued a statement Saturday afternoon saying that Ford “accepts” the Judiciary committee’s request to testify next week.

But Ford’s lawyers have not agreed to a day or the other terms of the hearing. “Can we set up a time later this afternoon to continue negotiations?” Ford’s lawyers write.

Ford’s lawyers have been pushing for the Kavanaugh to testify first before Ford testifies about her accusation to the committee. On Friday night, Judiciary committee chairman Charles Grassley rejected that request.
