After spending four terms as Louisiana’s governor and eight years in federal prison for bribery and extortion, 85-year-old Edwin Edwards is headed to the small screen as one of the central characters on A&E’s new reality show “The Governor’s Wife.” The title character is Edwards’ 34-year-old bride, Trina, whom he married in 2011. Other members of the family will also be featured on the show, including Edwin’s daughter Anna, a 62-year-old four-time divorcee, and Victoria, a 60-year-old ex-showgirl, along with Trina’s two sons, Logan, 15, and Trevor, 13, Entertainment Weekly reports. “The Governor’s Wife” debuts Feb. 27 at 10 p.m.
