Political satire won on Wednesday as “Daily Show” host Jon Stewart and “Colbert Report” host Stephen Colbert re-signed their Comedy Central contracts, according to the insider-y television publication Broadcasting & Cable. Stewart will remain as executive producer and host of his show until mid-2015, while Colbert is retained as executive producer and will write and host his show through the end of 2014. Last week, both shows were each nominated for four Emmys.
