America’s most beloved rapper, Eminem (a.k.a. Marshall Mathers), has emerged from the shadows to weigh in on the 2016 presidential election.
His assessment: he’s a bit peeved.
In his new song, titled “Campaign Speech,” Eminem put Donald Trump and his supporters on blast with lyrics like:
But you should be afraid of this dang candidate
You say Trump don’t kiss ass like a puppet
Cause he runs his campaign with his own cash for the funding
And that’s what you wanted
A f**kin’ loose cannon whose blunt with his hand on the button
Who doesn’t have to answer to no one. Great idea.
Oddly enough, Trump endorsed Eminem during an MTV 2004 mock convention for president — the Shady National Convention — as the “Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Cash.”
“Campaign Speech” isn’t all political, Eminem even talks about getting vigilante justice in the murders of Eric Garner and Trayvon Martin.
On excessive force and pressure points
And dressin’ George Zimmerman in a fluorescent orange
Dress and four inch heels to address the court
With a bullseye on his back
His whole chest and torso are left on the doorsteps of Trayvon’s dad as a present for him
For those that don’t remember, Eminem was attacked in a similar manner at the beginning of his career for being too politically incorrect in his raps.
Maybe Trump running for president will open the door for a Eminem/Dr. Dre ticket in 2020.
