Bernie Sanders supporters aren’t exactly repulsed by conspiracy theories, so it’s not too surprising that many of them believe Donald Trump would quickly be assassinated if elected president.
VidMax attended a Sanders rally in Salem, Oregon on May 10 and asked the Vermont senator’s supporters what they saw happening if Trump became president.
“World War III, the military will shoot him,” said an older couple. The two added that they were afraid the big banks and corporate interests would try to kill Sanders if he won the Oval Office.
“A lot of people are going to leave [the U.S.],” said a young couple wearing T-shirts that read ‘F*** Trump.’ “I wouldn’t doubt [someone will try to shoot the Republican nominee].”
When asked what kind of rifle would be best to use against Trump, the young girl responded “anything that can kill him.”
“People are going to go crazy enough to do what they did to JFK,” said a few younger women.
Another woman said Trump’s vice president may end up governing longer than he does.
“There’s so much aggression and violence around and surrounding Trump that I worry about his safety and I think his running mate will be very important because that might be who we end up with,” said a middle-aged Bernie supporter.
