America needed it, and we got it: John Bolton comments on a cuddling app

Wrong, Mr. Ambassador. You were just the person to comment on this.

Former UN Ambassador John Bolton shared his thoughts on the new “cuddling app” Cuddlr on FOX Business’ “The Independents,” joking that the practice is already an oft-used diplomatic tool.

“It’s a great way to success,” he continued, before arriving at a moment of self-awareness. “Actually, I think I’m probably the single person of all of the FOX universe least able to speak to this issue, but I’m delighted to be here.”

The show’s host, former MTV VJ Kennedy, then asked former Rep. Thad McCotter to weigh in, who responded with a hug.

“Live TV,” Bolton observed.

Cuddlr describes itself as “a location-based social-meeting app just for cuddling,” which, needless to say, has the potential to be a creepshow.

Take WaPo’s Caitlin Dewey, whose review of the app was headlined, “I tried out Cuddlr, the ‘Tinder for cuddling,’ and all I got was severely creeped out.”

At least we got a former UN Ambassador to comment on it before the negative reviews start pouring in.
