Ben Carson loses a tooth at campaign stop in South Carolina

Even before the Republican presidential candidates have had a chance to slug it out on the debate stage, 2016 hopeful Ben Carson is already looking rougher than Manny Pacquiao.

Carson lost his front tooth at a campaign stop in South Carolina over the weekend, TMZ reported.

“Toothgate” occurred while he was eating scrambled eggs, grits, and a ham biscuit at Tommy’s Country Ham House in Greenville, S.C. ahead of a speech.

But nothing could stop the good doctor.

He put the tooth in his pocket and carried on, delivering an “impassioned speech,” according to The Hill.
